inclusivity
Inclusivity in our Sisterhood of the Moon tradition
In a world that seems increasingly hostile, divisive, and fragmented, our Tradition and our Motherhouse community are soft places to land. As such, our Priestesses have purposely chosen expansion as a guiding principle for our work—at all times, we aspire to become ever more inclusive, ever more compassionate, ever more kind, and ever more loving.
Our Tradition operates from the foundation that *We Are All One*.
We respect, believe in, and celebrate diversity and are committed to providing sacred and inspiring spaces for all to honor, worship, and learn. To do this, respect is paramount. All people who embody accountability, integrity, and love are welcome here.
Sisterhood of the Moon is a matriarchal Tradition in service to all people of integrity within self-defined communities. We welcome people of any and all colors, traditions, and ethnicities. Whilst our Motherhouse community is primarily in service to women, you can find other communities welcoming people of all genders here.
In our Motherhouse community:
Our Women's Lunar Rites are inclusive of all women: trans, cis, and gender non-conforming.
Our Astral Temple is inclusive of all people.
Our Vigils are inclusive of all, as are other select gatherings.
The Women’s Mystery School of Magick & Empowerment is inclusive of all women: trans, cis, and gender non-conforming.
We are dedicated to amplifying the voices of BIPOC and to bringing attention to local and national organizations that celebrate, support, and honor diversity, equity, and democracy. Black, Brown, and Indigenous lives matter.
Sisterhood of the Moon offers our deepest gratitude to Tyler B and Dagen D for their kind and thoughtful counsel and guidance in the original crafting of this heart-centered statement.
