Please join your Priestesses for a virtual Lammas Rite in conjunction with Ceremony Health, honoring Ancient Egyptian Goddess Sekhmet.
Ceremony Health is a healing center based out of Berkeley, CA, offering ketamine-assisted group psychotherapy with an emphasis on relational healing and the transformative power of ritual. We began weekly Collective Care Ceremonies to foster a sacred, virtual space for grounding, intentionality and community in the time of Covid-19. We have since expanded our offering by inviting guests as a way of supporting other Healers and Artists, cross-pollinating communities and spreading the knowledge of the healing power of psychedelic medicines.
For more information, please visit their website and sign up to speak with one of their Healers. Sign up here to receive the Zoom link for this ritual.
Preparation Information (Optional)
If you wish to fully participate, before we meet please gather:
For our magick: an unlit birthday candle held upright in a fireproof vessel (i.e., in a container filled with sand, set in a piece of fruit, cake, or cheese) and a lighter or matches. Please note that although a birthday candle is ideal for this working, any size candle is fine;
For our “Cakes and Ale” ceremony: something small to eat and a beverage to drink (i.e, chocolate, fruit, or nuts and water, wine, or juice)
If you wish, set a simple working altar. If you feel so called, honor Sekhmet by using shades of black, yellow, gold, and orange for your cloths and candles and include any images, symbols, and Offerings for Her you feel called to (such as lions, cats, snakes, suns, beer, pomegranates, wine, raspberries, blackberries, red roses, bay laurel, cinnamon, catnip); and any of your own Sacreds you wish to charge.
For Your Sweet Self:
Choose a place where you will be undisturbed for the duration of our time together. Let your Loved Ones know you will be in sacred space, stop notifications and close all windows except for Zoom on the device you will be tuning in with, and put away all other electronic devices;
Create a comfortable space for meditation and spellwork;
For your comfort, have on hand water or another beverage and anything else you may need for your physical comfort;
In advance of ritual, cleanse yourself and your space with salt, water, smoke, or sound.
